Nigeria Political Parties Accuse Governors of APC of Vote Buying Ahead of Elections

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) is accusing governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) of attempting to buy votes ahead of next weekend’s election.

The CNPP has urged Nigerians in Kaduna and other parts of the country to ignore Governor Nasir El-Rufai for their own good as it is only the Central Bank of Nigeria that can issue directives on legal tender in Nigeria on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Furthermore, the statement accused opposing APC leaders of attacking President Muhammadu Buhari and CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele because they are desperate to buy votes knowing that APC has failed.

The CNPP also called on Buhari to call El-Rufai to order for his “declaring Kaduna State a sovereign” by ordering residents to recognise old N500 and N1,000 banknotes as legal tender contrary to presidential directives.

Finally, it asked the apex bank to set up modalities for exchanging old naira notes for citizens who may have been misled by APC Governors into holding onto their cash past the expiration date.
