Newcastle United’s upcoming Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield has had its kick-off time adjusted.
Originally scheduled for a primetime slot, the match on Wednesday, February 26, will now start at 8.15pm, a 15-minute delay due to live coverage on TNT Sports.
The Premier League confirmed the change, citing the adjustment to accommodate TV broadcasting schedules.
Newcastle, currently in contention for a top position, has seen several of its matches moved for television coverage.
Their home fixture against Nottingham Forest on Sunday, February 23, will kick off at 2pm and be shown live on Sky Sports.
However, their away match against Manchester City on February 15 will not be broadcast live and will kick off at the traditional 3pm time.
This game at the Etihad is sold out for away fans, with a limited allocation available via a season ticket holder ballot.
The ballot opens at 2pm GMT on January 20 and closes at 2pm GMT on January 21.
Successful applicants will be notified via email and charged for tickets, while those unsuccessful will also be informed.
