President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a recall for Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK), Sarafa Isola.
The recall was announced in a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, stating that Isola is to return to Nigeria within 60 days, no later than October 31, 2023.
Isola was appointed as the High Commissioner to the UK in January 2021 by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The letter expressed gratitude for Isola’s service and wished him well in his future endeavors. Isola had previously served as the Minister for Mines and Steel Development under former President Musa Yar’Adua.
