President Bola Tinubu has intervened in the diplomatic dispute between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in order to find a resolution.
The dispute arose when the UAE stopped issuing visas to Nigerians and suspended flights due to difficulties in repatriating funds from Nigeria.
President Tinubu met with the UAE Ambassador and emphasized the need for immediate resolution, offering to personally intervene in the matter.
He urged both parties to approach the issues as a family problem and work together to find a solution.
The UAE Ambassador expressed confidence that the small issues could be resolved and mentioned ongoing agreements between the two governments.
