Priscilla Ojo says her mother Iyabo Ojo’s Lagos office was set on fire in connection with threats tied to her recent wedding to Tanzanian artist, Juma Jux, NaijNaira can report.
The claim follows a handwritten threat letter dated May 24, reportedly delivered by a group identifying as “Aggrieved Group,” according to Premium Times.
“You can’t escape in the next three months as we are out monitoring you,” the note read, warning the actress about plans to disrupt her daughter’s marriage.
The group added: “We shall render that your daughter married useless and rubbish it with scatter scatter.”
Priscilla shared the letter via Instagram, saying it was delivered while her mother traveled for the wedding and only read it on returning.
She accused the group of launching the fire as a fallback after failing to interrupt the May ceremony.
Priscilla described the July 8 blaze as a calculated strike, timed in line with the three-month monitoring threat in the letter.
She also confirmed plans to identify those responsible through CCTV footage already under review.
“You can’t silence my mother with all of these threats and criminal acts,” she wrote. “God is stronger than any evil, and time will surely tell.”

Iyabo Ojo earlier confirmed the fire incident, thanking the Nigerian Fire Service for quick intervention.
