Manchester United may be tempted to make a move for five Paris Saint-Germain stars this summer, as the Ligue 1 giants are looking to reduce their wage bill by up to 30 per cent.

Reportedly, the club spent a huge £643million in wages in 2022 and are now looking to offload some of their players in order to reduce the costs incurred.

There are five main players that Manchester United could target this summer, who would help PSG significantly decrease their wage bill.

Achraf Hakimi is one of these potential signings, as he is one of the world’s best right-backs and is on an affordable salary too.

Another potential signing is goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who already ousted Keylor Navas from his spot last year, reducing PSG’s expenses further.

Other possible signings include Kylian Mbappe, Renato Sanches and Marco Verratti.

All three have been key members of PSG’s team for many years and carry large salaries; their departure would bring significant savings to PSG.

If Manchester United manage to snap up all or some of these players they could potentially help both teams improve their current situations – bringing down excessive costs at PSG whilst also strengthening United’s squad.
