Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has announced that £27 million man Leandro Trossard is fit and ready to make his debut against Manchester United on Sunday.
The 28-year-old Belgian signing from Brighton had a falling out with Seagulls coach Roberto De Zerbi which provided the catalyst for his move to the Emirates Stadium.
In 16 appearances this season, he had seven goals and three assists.
He will add competition and versatility into the Arsenal attacking ranks and needs to be registered by noon on Friday in order to feature this matchday.
Arteta remarked that he has been following Trossard for some time now and is eager for him “to have an immediate impact in the team.”
He also added that Trossard trained with them this morning, paperwork was completed, and he’s good-to-go!
During his time at Brighton, Trossard made 121 appearances in all competitions scoring 25 goals while adding 14 assists.
