Rafael Nadal’s return to the tennis court has been further delayed as he has pulled out of the Madrid Masters.

The tennis star has been undergoing rehab for a major injury he suffered in Australia, but his current treatment has not been successful.

Nadal has now started a new course of treatment and has just one tournament left before the French Open to get some matches in.

He expressed his disappointment in an Instagram video, saying that he had hoped to play in important tournaments such as Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Roma, Roland Garros, but had to withdraw from Madrid due to his unhealed injury.

Despite this setback, Nadal is expected to fulfill his sponsorship obligations in Madrid.

However, time is running out for him to get match practice before the French Open, where he will be aiming to win his 15th trophy and 23rd overall Grand Slam title.
