During a recent interview, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was asked about the player he would choose to take a last-minute penalty if his life depended on it.
Rashford, who had a successful goal-scoring season at Old Trafford, scoring 30 goals, praised his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and said he would trust the United legend to convert a penalty under high-pressure circumstances.
Interestingly, Rashford did not mention his England teammate Harry Kane, who has a strong penalty record throughout his career.
However, Rashford’s choice may have been influenced by Kane’s miss from the spot during England’s World Cup match against France.
In the interview, Rashford also named Manchester City defender Kyle Walker as his toughest opponent, highlighting Walker’s exceptional physical capabilities.
