Former Barcelona player and Brazilian legend, Rivaldo, has suggested that Carlo Ancelotti should be the next head coach of the Brazil national team.

Currently managing Real Madrid, Ancelotti is reportedly a top choice for the Selecao to replace Tite, who resigned after Brazil’s quarter-final exit at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ramon Menezes is currently serving as interim coach.

Rivaldo expressed his excitement at the prospect of Ancelotti leading Brazil, stating that it would be historic and he hopes that Ancelotti would lead Brazil to victory in the 2026 World Cup.

The Brazilian legend said, “Ancelotti to Brazil? It will be historic. I hope he will be our first foreign coach and we will be world champions with him in 2026 [World Cup at Mexico, Canada and the USA].”
