Despite rumors of a possible return to Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku has committed his future to Inter Milan.
The Belgian striker joined Chelsea for a second time in 2021 for a record fee of £97.5m, but a falling out with former boss Thomas Tuchel led to his return to Inter on loan at the beginning of this season.
While his time in Italy has been affected by fitness issues, Lukaku started in a recent game against Sassuolo and expressed satisfaction at helping the team win and boost their top-four chances.
He understands his role in the team and is happy to contribute whenever called upon.
“Of course, every player wants to start, but the coach has to make his choices for the team. As I have always said, the most important thing is Inter and I give my all for the team,” he added.
Inter currently sits third on the table, level on points with Juventus.
