Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim reportedly smashed a TV in frustration after his team’s 3-1 defeat to Brighton, marking their sixth home loss in 12 Premier League games.

This defeat was their seventh since Amorim took charge in November, as the club’s poor form continues.

It’s said the TV, used for pre-match tactical planning, will be repaired ahead of Thursday’s Europa League match against Rangers.

Amorim vented his anger in a post-match press conference, calling his team “maybe the worst in United’s history.”

He acknowledged his side’s poor performance, revealing they’ve won just two of their last 10 Premier League games.

The 39-year-old expressed deep frustration with the team’s lack of progress under his leadership, noting that despite his efforts, the team is struggling to adapt to his 3-4-2-1 formation, which was successful in Lisbon.

Amorim also expressed understanding of the fans’ disappointment, “We won two of the last ten matches in the Premier League. Imagine what this is for a fan of Manchester United,” he shared.

Critics, including former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher, found his remarks shocking, suggesting it was unwise for a manager to make such damning statements publicly.
