Senator Jibrin Barau has been elected as the Deputy Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.
He was nominated by Senator Dave Umahi and his nomination was seconded by Senator Saliu Mustapha.
Barau accepted the nomination and was declared the Deputy Senate President by the Clerk of the National Assembly.
Notably, Barau emerged unopposed, indicating a strong level of support from his colleagues in the Senate.
