Tottenham secured their place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup with a dramatic 4-3 victory over Manchester United.
Spurs took an early lead in the 15th minute when Dominic Solanke capitalized on a rebound from a poor save by United’s goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir.
Tottenham doubled their advantage early in the second half, with Dejan Kulusevski firing home after a weak clearance from Bayindir.
Solanke then made it 3-0 with a brilliant finish, seemingly putting the game out of reach for United.
However, Tottenham’s goalkeeper Fraser Forster made two costly mistakes, gifting United a lifeline.
Substitutes Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo capitalized on these errors, bringing United back into the game and cutting the deficit to 3-2 with 20 minutes remaining.
Despite the pressure, Spurs regained their two-goal advantage when Heung-min Son scored directly from a corner.
United responded in added time, with Jonny Evans heading in from another corner to make it 4-3.
However, it was too late for United as Tottenham held on to secure their spot in the semi-finals.
