SpaceX has confirmed that its satellite internet service, Starlink, is now available in Nigeria.
Nigerians and tech startups can now benefit from the connectivity made possible with this revolutionary system.
The federal government had held meetings with SpaceX management previously to discuss implementing the service in Nigeria before it was made available last month.
It is expected to take up a large portion of the broadband market with already established networks like MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9mobile, Smile and so on.
Being the first African country to receive Starlink services, Nigeria will be able to access satellite internet coverage on a global scale for the first time; enabling activities unimagined before due to high-speed and low latency features delivered by advanced satellites orbiting around Earth.
