Steven Gerrard, the former England midfielder, has been announced as the new manager of Saudi Pro League team Al Ettifaq.
The club confirmed the appointment on their official Twitter account, expressing their excitement and referring to Gerrard as a legend.
Gerrard began his managerial career as a Youth coach at his former club, Liverpool FC, and went on to win the Scottish Premier League with Rangers.
He had a brief stint at Aston Villa before being sacked.
Now, he will be leading Al Ettifaq in their pursuit of domestic and continental titles, competing against notable players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Jota.
