Sumbo Adeoye, the mother of two children with music legend 2Face, recently revealed the reason behind having a second child with him despite not being married.
During a live interview, she explained that friends had urged her to have another baby with 2Face in order to keep him.
Naively, she agreed to their advice.
“They told me, i was the one in the house and i should give him another baby,” and I naively obliged.”
However, Sumbo has since forgiven those who influenced her to make that decision, as she believes that God’s mercy has transformed her life and turned her shame into joy.
“I usually tell a lot of people that it looks like bad choices, but today the Lord has turned things around for me, because my first child is going to college and i give God the glory that i did not abort that baby.”
She also shared her own experience as a lesson for young women in similar situations, advising them not to go back to their past, as it will only lead to a recurrence of the same issues.
Instead, she encouraged them to focus on their future and move forward.
“If you are in that situation right now, please don’t go back to your past, your past is a scam and your future is the truth. If you go back, you will continue to have a recurrence of the same issue,” she said.
