Afrobeats sensation Tems will perform at the FIFA Club World Cup Final halftime show for the first time in the competition’s history, joining Doja Cat and J Balvin for the global event.
NaijNaira learnt that this will be the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup halftime show, featuring an exciting collaboration between football and music. The performance, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will also support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to improve access to education and youth football worldwide.
Tems expressed her excitement about the upcoming show, describing it as an opportunity to unite people through music and football.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino welcomed the partnership with Global Citizen. He described the event as an unforgettable celebration with a lasting purpose. “FIFA and Global Citizen are partnering to support a powerful cause: giving every child the chance to learn, play, and dream,” Infantino said.
The FIFA Club World Cup is scheduled to begin on June 13, featuring top teams such as Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Inter Miami CF.
