Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich on a permanent basis, with a transfer fee of up to £25m being quoted.
Sabitzer was brought in on loan by Erik ten Hag in January and has impressed in all competitions, including scoring twice in the Europa League quarter-final first leg against Sevilla.
While Sabitzer is keen on a full-time transfer, Bayern are demanding an initial £20m plus a further £5m in add-ons to sanction a permanent exit.
The player is under contract until 2025, so Bayern may not feel pressure to lower their asking price.
United may need to decide whether Sabitzer fits into their long-term plans or if they should target younger midfielders like Frenkie de Jong or Jude Bellingham.
