Josiah Godwin, a 20-year-old apprentice, has allegedly killed his master and dumped the body in a well located in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
The gruesome incident was said to have happened at Imafon Community when an argument broke out between Master Savior Joseph and his apprentice.
According to the deceased’s elder brother Odey Julius Ogbaji, after days of continued unsuccessful attempts to contact Savior Joseph, they soon found out that Josiah was the last person with whom he had interacted with before his disappearance.
Upon questioning him further about what happened between them, he revealed that Master Savior Joseph had woken him up in the middle of the night, smashing his phone on the floor before beating him and then asking him to go back to sleep.
A search party shortly uncovered the body of Savior Joseph from inside a nearby well.
As of now, no statement has been released by the Police Public Relations Officer Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisayan relating to this case.
