Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the President-elect of Nigeria, has returned to Abuja after spending some time abroad.
Tinubu, accompanied by his wife, Remi, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday to a warm welcome from a crowd of supporters.
Tinubu had travelled out of the country on March 21 to spend some time in Paris and London.
During his trip, he shared several pictures and updates on his social media platforms, keeping his followers updated on his activities.
Upon his return, Tinubu took to his Twitter handle to express his excitement and appreciation for the warm welcome he received.
He wrote, “I am extremely excited to be back home and deeply humbled by the warm welcome I received on my return to Abuja today. Thank you all for your love and support. Our promise to deliver a nation of Renewed Hope for all Nigerians remains in motion.”
Tinubu’s return to Abuja comes ahead of his swearing-in ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on May 29. As the President-elect of Nigeria, Tinubu has promised to deliver a nation of renewed hope for all Nigerians.
His campaign focused on key issues such as security, job creation, and infrastructure development, among others.
