Former Senator Naj’atu Muhammad has claimed that if Bola Tinubu is elected president of Nigeria, his wife would be in charge of the country.
Speaking on African Independent Television (AIT) on Wednesday, Muhammad – who recently resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) – alleged that “hangers-on” backing Tinubu are benefiting from his illness.
She noted that she would rather choose Atiku Abubakar – the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – than stay with Tinubu whom she claims cannot decipher and lacks a blueprint for the country.
When commenting on her exit from APC, Muhammad said it was to liberate herself from “shackles,” and rejected accusations of incompetence made against her claiming such decisions were only within capability of party chairman Abdullahi Adamu.
