West Ham United is reportedly interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
According to The Guardian, West Ham manager David Moyes has included Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah in his short-list of potential signings.
This news comes after West Ham was previously linked with a move for Conor Gallagher from Chelsea.
It is said that Chelsea is demanding around £25 million for Chalobah.
With Chalobah’s ability to play in the center of defense and as a defensive midfielder, it is understandable why Moyes would be interested in signing him.
However, it remains to be seen if Chelsea would be swayed by an official offer from West Ham.
If there is a chance to sign Chalobah, Moyes should make every effort to bring him to the London Stadium, as he is described as an “incredible” defender and would be a solid addition to the team.
Chalobah’s strong performance in the air, in challenges, and his athleticism would greatly benefit West Ham’s defense.
