Wike Shakes Things Up With Bombshell Revelation

In a bombshell revelation, Nyesom Wike, the newly inaugurated minister of the FCT, disclosed that not just one, but ten governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) submitted names to President Bola Tinubu for appointment. Yes, you read that right – ten PDP governors!

In his press conference, Wike wondered why he was the only one being called out when all ten governors responded to President Tinubu’s request for nominations. It’s quite intriguing, isn’t it?

Reggae Dancers and Their Troubles

But let’s not waste our time dwelling on those PDP members calling for Wike’s suspension. As he aptly put it, they are merely “reggae dancers.” We should focus on the real deal and the positive impact Wike is ready to make as the FCT minister.

Transitioning from being a two-term governor of Rivers State under the PDP, Wike’s appointment has surprised many. However, he revealed that before accepting President Tinubu’s offer, he consulted with various PDP leaders.

PDP Leaders’ Support: A Game-Changer

In a show of unity, Wike received overwhelming support from PDP national, zonal, and state chairmen. Not only that, he extended his consultation to the minority leaders of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and his state governor.

All the leaders unanimously urged him to “take that appointment.” It’s evident that Wike’s decision has the backing of the party, and we can expect great things from him in the FCT.

Don’t Mind the Naysayers

Now, let’s turn a blind eye to the “bad belle losers” calling for Wike’s suspension. Their negativity is not worth our attention. Instead, let’s focus on the optimism and positive changes he is set to bring as the FCT minister.
