Virgil van Dijk has confirmed that he is in “ongoing” discussions about a new contract with Liverpool, though he remains uncertain about his future with the club.
Alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah, Van Dijk’s current deal is set to expire next summer.
Regarding the uncertainty, Van Dijk has expressed his desire to extend his stay at Anfield “I can say discussions are ongoing, but I don’t know what happens in the future,” he stated.
