Cristiano Ronaldo greeted Louis Saha and Jamie Redknapp at Old Trafford ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League game at home to West Ham on Sunday but appeared to deliberately ignore his former team-mate after recent criticism.

Neville and ex-United midfielder Roy Keane were involved in a heated debate over the Portuguese during Sky Sports’ coverage of the team’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea last weekend, with the former England right-back saying that Erik ten Hag’s side were better without Ronaldo.

Those comments look to have got back to Cristiano, who effusively greeted former United team-mate Louis Saha and ex-Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp pitchside during Sky Sports’ build-up at Old Trafford on Sunday but did not acknowledge Neville.

Ronaldo recently snubbed Jamie Carragher in a similar way during Sky’s coverage after receiving some similar criticism from the former Liverpool defender.

The Portuguese was back in the starting line-up for Manchester United against West Ham, having spent much of the Premier League season on the bench following Ten Hag’s arrival in the summer.
