The Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) was launched by Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of President Bola Tinubu, on Friday.
The program aims to cater to Nigerian women, youths, and children and was launched at the State House in Abuja.
The initiative’s governing board, including the First Lady, the wife of the Vice President, and other prominent figures, will focus on five key areas: agriculture, education, economic empowerment, health, and social investment.
Beneficiaries will need to register with the Corporate Affairs Commission and open a bank account to qualify for consideration.
The program hopes to assist vulnerable groups and will hold zonal meetings involving the wives of state governors.
The initiative plans to take off with unspent funds from the 2023 campaign purse and will later solicit funds from private organizations, international donors, and NGOs.
