Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, took a swipe at the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, over his recent protest march to the national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Wike expressed his views during the commissioning of a road construction project in Etche local government area of the State.
While he was busy commissioning projects for his people’s welfare and happiness, other leaders were out protesting results from previous elections.
The governor also praised Nigerians for voting Southern President in the last presidential and National Assembly elections.
He argued that power must be shared between South and North regions to achieve equity, justice and fairness according to PDP constitution.
The party leadership had been at fault by ignoring its regulations regarding zoning and rotating presidency which should not have happened.
Regardless of political affiliations, everyone should support this rotation for equal distribution of power among different groups in Nigeria.
