Deontay Wilder has his sights set on delivering Saudi Arabia’s “first knockout victim” in a potential fight against Anthony Joshua.
Talks are reportedly underway for a blockbuster night of heavyweight boxing in December, with Joshua potentially facing Wilder while Tyson Fury takes on Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed title showdown.
The winners of those bouts would then return to Saudi Arabia in 2024 to fight for all four major world titles.
Wilder’s manager has confirmed their interest in making the fight happen, and the former world champion himself is confident in his ability to deliver another showstopping moment.
Joshua’s promoter has also revealed plans to discuss the fight in the Middle East.
Despite both men losing their titles, the public interest in what would be one of the biggest fights in boxing remains high.
