Rodrygo Why I Copied Cristiano Ronaldo's Celebration After Scoring for Real Madrid Against Chelsea

After scoring the first goal for Real Madrid against Chelsea in the Champions League, Rodrygo celebrated by imitating Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous ‘Siuu’ celebration.

The Brazilian player explained that he had initially planned to do a knee slide but refrained from doing so due to pain in his knee.

Instead, he paid tribute to his idol by copying his celebration.

Rodrygo went on to score a second goal, securing a 2-0 win for Real Madrid.

Looking ahead, he expressed his excitement to find out who Madrid will face next between Manchester City and Bayern Munich in the last four.

The forward also expressed his gratitude for being a part of the “best club in the world” and praised teammate Thibaut Courtois for his crucial saves during the match.

Rodrygo will now focus on carrying his impressive form into Real Madrid’s upcoming La Liga match against Celta Vigo.
