With the 2023 presidential elections just days away, Deji Adeyanju, a soci0-political activist has said that the disorganisation within the All Progressives Congress (APC) could lead to the victory of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Adeyanju made this observation shortly after Bola Tinubu, APC’s presidential candidate accused some people in President Muhammadu Buhari’s government of attempting to sabotage his ambition.
Despite Tinubu’s claims and President Buhari vowing to campaign for Tinubu and urging Nigerians to vote for him, Adeyanju maintains that due to fragmentation within the opposition parties and the inability of Labour Party (LP) candidate Peter Obi to form an alliance with his counterpart from New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso and other northern alliances, it could be difficult for him to win.
“Peter Obi is clearly not even in the race. He is only running against PDP Atiku and the other opposition parties and you will see this in about 2 weeks after the election.
“If he had gotten Kwankwaso the joker and some major northern alliances, the case would have been different,” he added.
