Governor Wike of Rivers State brought attention to the PDP’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar while speaking at the State’s campaign flag-off rally.

Governor Wike said that members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State are focused on winning elections for governorship, state, and national assembly candidates over potential presidential wins.

He then argued that anyone who doesn’t have an interest in Rivers State will also not have their interest returned.

Governor Wike encouraged voters to use their Permanent Voter Cards as a way teach others about “live and let live”.

Siminialayi Fubara, PDP governorship candidate, thanked party leaders and members for believing in his vision and assured he would work with political and traditional leaders to protect peace while executing more people-oriented projects into the area.

Ambassador Desmond Akawor handed out flags to all candidates present before Monday Ngor expressed thanks on behalf of everyone in Tai for all the projects governor Wike had delivered.

Finally, Senator Barinada Mpigi asked everyone present to ensure that they cast their votes for PDP candidates using their Permanent Voter Cards when election day arrives.
