John Terry Set to Take First Managerial Job at Al-Shabab

Former Chelsea and England defender John Terry is reportedly set to embark on his first managerial role at Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.

According to The Sun, Terry has reached a verbal agreement with the Riyadh-based club and is expected to sign a contract for at least two years, with the possibility of extending it to four years.

This move will see Terry join a growing list of English football figures in Saudi Arabia, including his former England teammate Steven Gerrard, who is currently managing Al-Ettifaq.

Additionally, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is working in the country as the manager of Al-Qadsiah.

Al-Shabab, who currently have two points from their first five matches in the Saudi Pro League, will be hoping that Terry’s extensive experience as a player, particularly his successful tenure at Chelsea, will translate into success as a manager.

Terry, who is currently working as a consultant at Chelsea’s academy, could assume his role as Al-Shabab coach just in time for their upcoming match against Al-Feiha on September 15.
