The French forward fired the ball into the net from inside the box to mark his tenth goal in all competitions this season.
This match proved crucial for Mbappé, who faced criticism after missing a penalty against Liverpool in the Champions League the previous week.
The win was a comfortable one for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, as Getafe struggled with just 31% possession and could not capitalize on any chances, including a shot that hit the woodwork late on by John Patrick.
