Daniel Bwala, a top aide of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has told the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to unite the country and address the vilification of Igbos during the just concluded presidential and governorship elections in Lagos State, NaijNaira reports.

Bwala took to social media to remind Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of their alleged rigging of the February 25th presidential election.

In a series of tweets, Bwala condemned Tinubu for keeping mum about the vilification of Igbos during the polls that brought him to power.

Bwala’s tweets come amidst reports of the vilification of Igbos in Lagos during the presidential and governorship elections in the state.

The PDP chieftain wondered if the President-elect can unite Nigerians given the way Igbos were allegedly targeted and punished because their kinsman won Lagos.

He also called on Tinubu to unite the fragmented country and people who do not have confidence and trust in him because he rigged the election.

According to Bwala, this task is more significant than everything Tinubu has in his manifesto.

Bwala maintains that Atiku Abubakar remains the big man in the room and maintains a patriotic posture.

He believes in the unity of Nigeria along all lines, and he has been there and knows quite well that a united people and country can do the impossible.

The PDP chieftain also said that he personally believes that the Igbo man believes in the Nigerian project and lives it in his life and economy.

Therefore, they must never be profiled and maltreated because of the conduct of few on social media.
