The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied any suspension of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, their candidate for the Abia North senatorial district in Saturday’s election.
According to APC spokesperson, Hon. Okey Ezeala, a paid agent of PDP candidate Mao Ohuabunwa wrote and circulated the false report as an effort to cause confusion before the elections.
The statement issued by Ezeala also alleged that such reports were out of PDP’s fear of an impending defeat in tomorrow’s election.
He further added that no disciplinary committee or any executive sat or approved such a baseless and malicious write-up.
Thus, he clarified that Senator Kalu still remains the party’s candidate in the upcoming election.
