France, holders of the World Cup, will be aiming to defend their trophy from 2018 when they cross swords with Argentina in the Grand Finale at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.
Paul Pogba, one of France’s most iconic and outspoken players, missed out on this year’s World Cup due to an injury, but he is certainly there in spirit.
Despite missing out on the 2022 World Cup due to injury, Pogba has made it a point to send messages of encouragement to the France squad from time to time.
He is deemed one of the outspoken players in the French team and in spite of his physical absence, the Juventus midfielder has made his presence felt via a moving message.
“Okay guys, for a second time, guys, in the World Cup final. And this is a second time in a row, so I give you all my support, all my strength,” Pogba said in a video as quoted by GFFN.
He added: “A final you know, it is not played it is won! I wish you the best. Good luck to you. Go Blues!” When is the final?
The 2022 World Cup final will be staged on Sunday, December 18 at 1500 hours GMT.
