Actress Annie Wersching passed away in Los Angeles on Sunday at the age of 45, after a battle with cancer.

The beloved entertainer was best known for her work as FBI agent Renee Walker in the series ’24’, Tess in the video game The Last of Us, and recurring roles in other popular TV shows such as Bosch and Timeless.

Tributes poured in from family and stills who had worked alongside her throughout her two-decade career, praising her tremendous talent and passion for what she did.

Though Wersching was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, she bravely continued to act despite undergoing treatment.

Her notable credentials include the voice-over role of Tess in The Last of Us video game, guesting on ‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ and securing recurring roles on Bosch (season 7 & 8), ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘Marvel’s Runaways’ and ‘The Rookie’ as well as her latest portrayal as the Borg Queen in Season 2 of ‘Star Trek: Picard.’ Wersching’s loved ones said that through her courage, strength and relentless spirit to find joy amidst adversity – she has left them with invaluable tools that they will carry forever.
