Antonio Conte Sacking Latest Updates from the Tottenham Board

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Daniel Levy and the rest of the Tottenham board have been faced with a massive decision following Antonio Conte’s startling rant after the 3-3 draw at Southampton.

Spurs were leading 3-1 when James Ward-Prowse taunted a penalty, costing them two precious points in their fight to stay in the top four.

Now, they only maintain a two-point advantage over Newcastle in fifth place, while Liverpool are seven points off but are playing two fewer games.

Conte emotionally criticized the club, board and players during his outburst which has resulted in calls for him to be immediately fired.

Some suggest Roberto De Zerbi should take his place while others long for Mauricio Pochettino’s return; there is even talk of Ryan Mason taking up caretaking duties until the end of the season.

The expiration of Conte’s employment contract is fast approaching anyway, so it appears unlikely that he remains with Spurs beyond May 28th.

Nevertheless, after meeting with Levy and the board privately, it was concluded that firing him now would cause more harm than good for Tottenham’s ambitions for this season and as such Levy is demonstrating a softer stance than expected by not terminating Conte’s position before then planned time.

Whether or not these conclusions reflect true statements from Conte remain unclear as an official statement from either side hasn’t yet been drafted clearing up any potential confusion surrounding what transpired during the Southampton game.

At any rate Tottenham continue on with their pursuit of a Champions League spot at Goodison Park against Everton on Monday, April 3rd; undoubtedly coming under increasing pressure if they fail once again to come away with all three points.
