Apple is gearing up for its biggest launch of the year, and the spotlight will be on the iPhone 17 lineup when the company hosts its September 9 event — www.naijnaira.com reports.
According to Forbes, the keynote is expected to unveil several new devices, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and possibly a brand-new iPhone Air model.
The regular iPhone 17 is tipped to gain a 6.3-inch display, a bump from last year’s 6.1 inches, and a long-awaited 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.
Apple may also introduce a sharper 24-megapixel front-facing camera, giving users a major boost for selfies and video calls.
Color options for the standard model could include purple and green, while the Pro versions might be offered in copper and dark blue.
Design leaks suggest the iPhone 17 Pro will carry a new rectangular camera bar across the back of the phone, stretching from one side to the other.
The Pro version may also switch from titanium to aluminum edges, which would make the phone lighter and less costly to produce.
Reports claim the Pro Max will focus on bigger battery life, with a slightly thicker body to house the upgrade.
Pricing rumors suggest the iPhone 17 will start around $800, while the Pro will cost about $1,050, and the Pro Max could hit $1,250.
However, storage tiers might be reduced, with the 128GB option disappearing and only 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB available.
A leak also hints at “TechWoven” cases for the Pro models, designed with a higher quality fabric and crossbody strap, replacing the discontinued FineWoven line.
The most talked-about device is the rumored iPhone Air, expected to be Apple’s thinnest phone ever at just 5.5mm.
This ultra-thin handset is said to feature a 6.6-inch screen and could replace the Plus model entirely.
The Air may trade features for size, with only one rear camera lens and possibly no bottom speaker, relying instead on the top earpiece for sound.
Analysts expect the iPhone Air to retail for about $950, available in silver, black, and light gold.
Apple Watch fans are also in for a refresh, with the Series 11, Watch SE 3, and Watch Ultra 3 all likely to debut at the event.
Speculation suggests the Ultra 3 could bring satellite support, faster charging, and even blood pressure tracking, though health features may be delayed.
AirPods Pro 3 are also rumored, potentially offering smaller earbuds, touch controls, a sleeker case, and the new H3 chip to improve noise cancellation.
If past Apple schedules hold, pre-orders for the new devices will begin September 12, with retail sales kicking off September 19.
