Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League title have taken a major blow as two key players, William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko, have been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injuries.
The duo has been instrumental in Mikel Arteta’s team this season, but their absence will be felt as the Gunners head into the final stretch of the EPL.
Saliba has been out of action since March after sustaining an injury during a Europa League match against Sporting Lisbon, while Zinchenko hurt his calf in Arsenal’s recent win over Newcastle United.
Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding are expected to replace them in the team, but Holding may face competition from Jakub Kiwior.
Arsenal’s next match is against Brighton, followed by games against Nottingham Forest and Wolves.
