Arsenal's Title Hopes Dented as They Throw Away Two-Goal Lead Against West Ham

Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League title were dealt a blow as they squandered a two-goal lead against West Ham United, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

The Gunners appeared to be cruising to victory after Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard scored in the first 10 minutes.

However, a missed penalty by Bukayo Saka and a West Ham comeback, including a penalty by Said Benrahma and a goal by Jarrod Bowen, left Arsenal with just a four-point lead at the top of the table.

Manchester City, who have a game in hand, are now in a strong position to retain the title.

Despite bringing on Jorginho and Leandro Trossard in search of a winner, Arsenal were unable to secure the three points. West Ham even had a chance to win the game, but Michail Antonio’s header hit the crossbar.

The two teams will meet again on April 26 when Arsenal visit Manchester City.
