Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is still uncertain about the future of Folarin Balogun, according to reports.
The 21-year-old has been on loan this season with French side Reims and set Ligue 1 alight, outscoring even Kylian Mbappe with an impressive 14 goals in the top division.
Having come through Arsenal’s youth system, Balogun put pen to paper on a new contract just months before his deal was due to expire suggesting his loyalties lie with the Gunners.
Due to his impressive form and clear potential, there will be plenty of suitors interested in signing the New York-born star, should Arsenal decide to sell him at the end of his loan spell.
Arteta will have much deliberation as he currently has Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah leading up front for his team, leaving little room for a third, although Balogun himself recently expressed confidence that he’d be better placed to compete when returning from France in the summer.
