Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s wife, Princess Rukaiya, has assured women and youths of a prominent place in her husband’s administration if the Peoples Democratic Party wins the election.
Rukaiya called on women and youths to support and ensure the emergence of her husband as the president of the country, after the general election of the country in February 2023
Atiku and Delta state governor, Mr Ifeanyi Okowa are flying the PDP flag in the election.
Speaking at a rally in the North West zone, which was held in Kano, she said the lives of women and youths will be safe and improved when PDP takes charge of the country’s affairs.
According to her, girl-child education will be given urgent attention.
The wife of the former vice president welcomed the wives of the northwest gubernatorial candidates and encouraged them to work for the victory of the party in the election.
“I welcome the wives of northwest gubernatorial candidates of the PDP who are present here and I am assuring you of their commitments to ensure the lives of women and their children are safe and improved.
“The lives of women and youths would be more valuable when we get into the villa in 2023.”
