The American University of Nigeria (AUN) has recently received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer a Master of Science degree in Communication for Social and Behaviour Change.
This program, developed in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), will begin in the upcoming fall semester.
Additionally, AUN has been approved to offer a hybrid mode Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, as well as M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree programs in Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD), Petroleum Chemistry, and English Language and Literature.
All of these newly approved Graduate School programs will commence in the Fall 2023 semester.
The NUC conveyed their approvals in a letter to the university’s president, dated March 3, 2023, and signed by the director of academic planning for the executive secretary, Dr. N.B. Saliu.
The interim president of AUN, Professor Attahir Yusuf, expressed his gratitude for the NUC’s confidence in the university’s institutional integrity.
