Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has expressed optimism about Harry Kane’s recovery from a hamstring injury, stating there’s a chance the star striker could return before the end of the year.

Kane sustained the injury during Saturday’s 1-1 Bundesliga draw against Borussia Dortmund and is expected to miss a few games.

Bayern has five matches remaining before the winter break, including a Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Kane has been instrumental for Bayern, scoring 20 goals across all competitions this season.

Kompany acknowledged the difficulty of replacing the England captain’s goal-scoring ability but remains confident in the team’s depth.

He highlighted several players who can step up, including Thomas Mueller, Mathys Tel, Serge Gnabry, Michael Olise, Leroy Sane, and Jamal Musiala.

Although no one can replicate Kane’s impact directly, Kompany believes they have the talent to manage in his absence.
