If you have any BBNaija housemate that is your favourite, then it’s time you learnt how to vote for him or her so your fan can go home with the grand prize.
Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Voting can be done on Mobile, Web, SMS, the MyDStv app and MyGOtv App (open to active Nigerian subscribers only).
To vote on the website, mobile site and app, you have to register with your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, and cell phone number before or during the voting.
Website / Mobile site – You may vote for your favourite housemate via the Africa Magic website or mobile site on www.africamagic.tv/bigbrother.
MyDStv/MyGOtv App – You may vote for your favourite housemate via the MyDStv/MyGOtv App if you are an active subscriber with an eligible package.
BBNaija Housemate
Voting opens every Monday night after the nomination show at 8pm (9pm CAT) and closes Thursdays at 9pm (10pm CAT).
One can vote 100 times on the Mobile site and Website. If you are a DStv/GOtv subscriber customer with an eligible package and have the MyDStv/MyGOtv App, you can vote based on your package.

- Premium/Bue/Mega: 2500
- Compact +/Grande Mais: 1500
- Compact/Grande: 750
- Confam/Family/Familia: 500
- Yanga/Access/ Facil: 200
- GOtv Max: 350
- GOtv Jolli/Plus: 200
You must be on an eligible package to be able to receive additional votes to vote for your favourite housemate(s).
If you have a single mobile number which is linked to multiple packages, then the highest available package is the one you will be able to vote with i.e. if you have both Compact and Premium packages, the highest package available is Premium, therefore it is the Premium package that will be assigned votes.
If you are not receiving OTP messages on your phone number, unsubscribe from the DND by (1) texting STOP to 2442, then texting ALLOW to 2442 to start receiving bulk SMS.
Viewers from almost every country in Africa can vote using the MyDStv app and the MyGOtv app, these countries include Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Togo, etc.
Note that MyGOtv App is not available in DTH countries.
BBNaija Housemate Vote Limits
One can vote 100 times on the Mobile site and Website. If you are a DStv/GOtv subscriber with an eligible package and have the MyDStv/MyGOtv App, you can vote based on your package. You can vote for anyone you like each week and use your allowed votes per platform per week as you wish.
Voting is free (Data costs apply) on the website, mobile site and on the MyDStv or MyGOtv App.
On the website, mobile site and on the MyDStv or MyGOtv App, you will see a little countdown from 100 to one which indicates that your vote has been received.

- Select your favourite Housemate

- Download the MyDStv or MyGOtv App from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Log in to the app by selecting your default country, your surname or mobile number and your smartcard number.
- Once you’ve logged into your MyDStv or MyGOtv app account page, look for the “Vote Now” button.
- You must be an active MyDStv or MyGOtv subscriber on one of the eligible packages to receive your additional votes
- Click on “Vote Now” and follow the instructions to cast your vote.
