The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, recently received medical treatment in Abuja.
According to his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Kanu met with his personal doctors in a hospital outside the facility of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Ejiofor witnessed the medical examination and stated that it was seamless and productive.
He also mentioned that the examination would be progressing to the next stage soon.
Additionally, Ejiofor clarified that Kanu is not in support of the sit-at-home in the southeast and has directed for it to be stopped.
Kanu’s legal team and the IPOB leadership have been conveying this message and condemning criminal activities associated with the sit-at-home.
They urge the public to respect Kanu’s wishes and refrain from engaging with those who aim to keep him in captivity.
The lawyer concluded by stating that those who oppose Kanu have failed and will face the consequences of the law.
