The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Abubakar Atiku has headed to the election tribunal, contesting the declaration of Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President-elect.
In response to an election that has been marred by numerous crime allegations, Atiku joins Obi (the Presidential Candidate of the Labor Party) to legally dispute Tinubu’s win in the elections.
Silas Joseph, a member of Atiku’s legal counsel, informed the press of this development late Tuesday.
The report comes in few hours after Peter Obi filed his case with the election tribunal, ultimately demanding that Obi be declared winner at the polls.
Members of the PDP have at previously alleged unlawful votes, voter intimidation and results’ manipulation, among other things marred the February 25th polls.
