Former President Muhammadu Buhari was unable to attend the caucus meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) due to prior commitments, according to his spokesman, Garba Shehu.
The meeting, which took place at the presidential villa, was part of a series of meetings scheduled by the APC.
Buhari expressed his support and commitment to the party and wished them a successful meeting.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also apologized for his absence, citing his commitments outside the country.
The APC had previously announced the suspension of its planned meetings due to changes in the party’s leadership.
